Helpful tips on how to measure your windows for Port Phillip Plantation ShutterKits
Measure Width inside window frame: (A-C), (G-H) and (D-B)should be equal
Measure Height inside window frame: (A-D) and (C-B) should be equal
Measure Diagonal inside window frame: (A-B) and (C-D) should be equal
Remember that Port Phillip Plantation ShutterKits have 90mm blades. The frame is 30mm in depth. So when the blade is fully opened, 30mm of blade extends outward from the frame on each side. Therefore a clearance of 65mm is required if the face of the shutter is to be placed flush with the wall.
If there is a discrepancy in measurements, let us know and we will discuss the best solution. Feel free to supply us with drawings of your particular installation so we can offer some advice before you make that final decision.
